We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President – Commercial & Contracts to lead commercial and contractual functions for a leading Tier 1 construction company in Dubai.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall Commercial & Contracts function across major construction projects.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee contract administration, commercial management, claims, variations, and disputes.
- Manage contractual matters under FIDIC and other major contract forms.
- Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review and manage EOT claims, variations, valuations, and commercial settlements.
- Monitor project profitability, cost exposure, cash flow, and commercial risks.
- Provide strategic commercial advice to senior management and project leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop commercial and contracts teams.
- Ensure effective contractual compliance and risk management across projects.
✅ Key Requirements
- 20+ years of relevant experience in construction.
- Strong and proven Tier 1 construction company background – essential.
- Extensive senior-level experience in Commercial & Contracts management.
- Strong expertise in FIDIC, claims, variations, EOTs, and disputes.
- Proven experience managing commercial functions for large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent commercial strategy, negotiation, contract administration, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of project cost control, contractual risk, and commercial performance.
- UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.
